Energy Star Program

Anchor ClimateCare is a proud supporter of the Energy Star® program.

About half of all the energy used by households goes to heating and cooling the home. That’s why ClimateCare members proudly support the Energy Star® program. Energy Star is the symbol for energy efficiency, created to help consumers save money and minimize air pollution.

The Energy Star® program promotes residential energy efficiency because household energy use contributes to air pollution. An appliance receives the Energy Star® rating if it’s significantly more energy efficient than the minimum government standards. Energy Star® rated products are usually among the most efficient available today. By using more energy-efficient heating and cooling equipment, you can reduce pollution — and save money at the same time!

Furnaces
Most major furnace manufacturers have signed agreements with Energy Star® to produce and promote high-efficiency. While a 15-year-old furnace may be only 60% efficient, a new high-efficiency furnace is at least 90% efficient and costs much less to operate.

Air conditioners
Energy Star® air conditioners are 20 percent more efficient than ones currently meeting government standards. More efficient equipment helps you save money on your energy bills, and helps utilities reduce peak demand.

Purchasing energy-efficient products is easy - simply ask for Energy Star® models when working with your ClimateCare contractor to select your home comfort equipment.
